An explosion at an MoD warehouse in Uzbekistan injures 16
An investigation of the explosion is underway on the premises.
An explosion has rocked a warehouse belonging to Uzbekistan's Ministry of Defense, located in the Syrdarya region of the country. According to recent numbers provided by the ministry, 16 were reported injured, and 4 of them were sent to hospitals.
"After that, 12 of the 16 injured as a result of this incident were taken to the Syrdarya district medical association. First aid was immediately provided to all the victims," the national health ministry said on Telegram.

Four of the blast victims, according to the health ministry, are being observed at the Republican Emergency Medical Center, Syrdarya, and none are in critical condition. A representative for the defense ministry told Sputnik that the fire has been extinguished, and the situation is stable.
"Right now, the situation [at the warehouse] is stable, everything was extinguished," the representative said, revealing that an investigation is underway.
