Ansar Allah condemns Israeli massacres in Gaza's Beit Lahia
The Yemeni Ansar Allah movement condemns the Israeli occupation's crimes in Gaza, calling for international action to bring them to a halt.
The Political Bureau of Yemen's Ansar Allah movement has strongly condemned what it described as "the genocidal crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against civilians in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, which have resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded."
In a statement, the Political Bureau declared that "these Israeli crimes reflect the extent of hatred, savagery, and criminality displayed by the Zionist enemy, which has crossed all red lines and is deeply immersed in shedding innocent blood, committing some of the most heinous crimes and violations in the history of humanity."
The statement also criticized the "shameful and disgraceful silence" of the United Nations, accusing it of enabling the Israeli occupation to continue its crimes against the Palestinian people.
The Political Bureau called on Arab and Islamic nations, as well as freedom-loving people worldwide, to "take serious and active measures to pressure the Zionist entity to stop its aggression and crimes against our brothers in Gaza and Lebanon."
The statement came in response to a horrific massacre perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces on Saturday evening when they bombed several homes near the al-Qassam Mosque in the Beit Lahia area of northern Gaza. According to the latest figures from the Government Media Office in Gaza, 73 people were killed in the attack, though the toll is expected to rise.
This morning, Israeli forces continued targeting civilians, opening fire from aircraft on Khalifa School, which was sheltering displaced people in the area.
In addition to the high death toll of the massacre, dozens of people have been injured or remain missing, most of them women and children, as stated by the Media Office. This new massacre coincides with the Israeli occupation’s deliberate destruction of the healthcare system in the northern region of the Strip, an area that remains home to around 400,000 residents.
"The Israeli occupation continues its massacres in northern Gaza, targeting places filled with displaced people," the statement added.
The Government Media Office further reported that the Israeli occupation forces had threatened hospitals in the province, demanding that medical staff evacuate immediately. Furthermore, the occupation has blocked fuel deliveries to these hospitals and cut off communication and internet access in the area, worsening the humanitarian crisis.
Additionally, the Media Office held the occupation, along with the US administration, the UK, Germany, France, and other countries complicit in the ongoing genocide, fully responsible for the continuation of this crime—specifically, the ethnic cleansing and extermination in Jabalia Camp and the Beit Lahia project, as well as the continued massacres of civilians in northern Gaza.
This massacre is part of "Israel’s" ongoing crimes in Gaza, which include imposing siege, starvation, and total isolation on the northern province amid heavy aerial and artillery bombardments.
As the Israeli occupation’s siege on the north continues for the 15th consecutive day, Gaza’s Civil Defense spokesperson, Mahmoud Basal, stated that Jabalia Camp is facing extremely dire conditions due to the occupation's prevention of humanitarian aid. He noted that over 400 people, including children, women, and the elderly, have been killed, while it is becoming increasingly difficult for the Civil Defense to reach the bombing sites.
