On Saturday evening, the Israeli occupation committed a horrific massacre by bombing several houses near al-Qassam Mosque in the Beit Lahia area in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 73 Palestinians, according to a preliminary toll announced by the Government Media Office in Gaza.

In addition to the high death toll of the massacre, dozens of people have been injured or remain missing, most of them women and children, as stated by the media office. This new massacre coincides with the Israeli occupation’s deliberate destruction of the healthcare system in the northern region of the sector, an area that remains home to around 400,000 residents.

The Government Media Office further reported that the Israeli occupation forces had threatened hospitals in the province, demanding that medical staff evacuate immediately. Furthermore, the occupation has blocked fuel deliveries to these hospitals and cut off communication and internet access in the area, worsening the humanitarian crisis.

In yet another horrific act of violence, "Israel" committed a gruesome massacre behind the al-Qassam Mosque in the Beit Lahia Project area, north of #Gaza.

Additionally, the media office held the occupation, along with the US administration, the UK, Germany, France, and other countries complicit in the ongoing genocide, fully responsible for the continuation of this crime—specifically, the ethnic cleansing and extermination in Jabalia Camp and the Beit Lahia project, as well as the continued massacres of civilians in northern Gaza.

This massacre is part of "Israel’s" ongoing crimes in Gaza, which include imposing siege, starvation, and total isolation on the northern province amid heavy aerial and artillery bombardments.

As the Israeli occupation’s siege on the north continues for the 15th consecutive day, Gaza’s Civil Defense spokesperson, Mahmoud Basal, stated that Jabalia Camp is facing extremely dire conditions due to the occupation's prevention of humanitarian aid. He noted that over 400 people, including children, women, and the elderly, have been killed, while it is becoming increasingly difficult for the Civil Defense to reach the bombing sites.

Hamas leader Sami Abu Zuhri previously denied the arrival of any aid to northern Gaza for more than two weeks, explaining that the occupation continues to mislead the public by issuing false reports about the entry of aid, which are entirely unfounded.

In a press conference on Saturday, Abu Zuhri added that the occupation's cutting of communication and internet services in northern Gaza is intended to conceal the ongoing genocide, isolate its residents, and prevent the world from witnessing the daily massacres occurring in the area.
