Ansar Allah politburo member to Al Mayadeen: Palestine is our compass
Ali al-Qahoum tells Al Mayadeen that Yemen will not change its position on Palestine nor stop its operations regardless of all threats by the US and its allies.
A senior delegation from Ansar Allah visited the office of the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas in Sanaa to reaffirm the national consensus of supporting the Palestinian cause, including through operations as mandated by Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, a member of the party's politburo, Ali al-Qahoum, told Al Mayadeen on Sunday.
"We offered condolences for the martyrdom of Sheikh Saleh al-Arouri, and we emphasized our solidarity with Palestine, where the blood today has merged" between Yemenis and Palestinians specifically, and among members of the Axis of Resistance in general.
He affirmed "the continuation of operations targeting Israel in the occupied Palestinian territories," emphasizing that "we cannot be unattentive to all movements in the Red Sea or elsewhere."
Palestine is our compass
Al-Qahoum confirmed to Al Mayadeen that operations in the Red Sea will continue "despite American, British, and Israeli threats."
"Yemen will remain steadfast in its support for Palestinian Resistance, and Palestine is our compass," he continued.
Addressing the United States, the Ansar Allah official warned, "You must understand that you will not protect Israel, neither in the Red Sea nor anywhere else," indicating that "as long as Israel attacks Gaza and the Palestinian people, our finger shall remain on the trigger."

On recent statements by Washington and its allies, threatening Yemen from further carrying out attacks against Israeli and "Israel"-bound ships in the Red Sea, al-Qahoum said Sanaa will not change its position and is ready for all scenarios.
"We are ready for all options, and our operations are ongoing, no matter the American threats; our messages to the Americans are clear, and they must understand them."
He continued, "We cannot leave Palestine alone, and the era of isolating Palestine is over; we are present for the battle and are attentive and ready for all options."

A costly war for the US
With regard to the Yemeni response to any US aggression on the country, al-Qahoum warned that "the battle will be costly for the Americans, and they should leave the Red Sea and the Yemeni territories they are in," holding them responsible for "the consequences of all their criminal hostile moves against Yemen."
This comes after the head of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen's Sanaa, Mahdi al-Mashat, declared on Saturday that "Washington will pay the price for targeting our forces," referring to the US attack on Yemeni naval forces carrying out their duty toward Palestine in the Red Sea, which led to the martyrdom of 10 servicemembers.

"The blood of the martyrs of the naval forces has ignited a new battle with the American enemy," al-Mashat said, confirming that "a response is inevitable if the Americans do not rectify the situation by handing over the killers of our naval forces heroes."
Commenting on the Yemeni operations, he reiterated, "Any ship associated with the Israeli entity will not pass through the Red Sea, no matter the cost."
"Peace is achieved by stopping the daily crimes in Gaza, and by stopping the Zionist aggression and the American terrorism supporting it."
The Yemeni Parliament in Sanaa also held the US-led coalition responsible for crimes of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people and the attempt to militarize the Red Sea.
