Ansar Allah Spokesperson: Lebanon Is Capable of Facing Challenges
Yemeni officials assert their support for Lebanon's Information Minister, George Kordahi, in light of the diplomatic boycott led by Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.
The official Spokesperson for the Ansar Allah Movement, Mohammad Abd al-Salam, asserted his country's support for Lebanon in light of the diplomatic aggression it is facing from a number of Gulf states.
Saudi Arabia had launched a campaign of diplomatic boycott against Lebanon following the broadcasting of statements by the Lebanese Information Minister George Kordahi, recorded before he was named minister, wherein he called the war on Yemen "futile". After the interview was aired, the Kingdom recalled its Ambassador from Beirut, gave the Lebanese Ambassador a 48-hour notice to leave the Kingdom, and halted all imports from Lebanon.
Abd al-Salam: The first to score an Arab defeat against "Israel" was the people of Lebanon
Abd al-Salam tweeted, "Lebanon, the state, its people, and its Resistance can face challenges, no matter how great. Let us remember that the first to score a resounding defeat against the Israeli enemy was the people of Lebanon. [True] Arabs are those who confront the US and "Israel", not those who cling to them, follow in their footsteps, and use Arabhood against the Arab nation."
Moreover, Yemen Supreme Political Council Member, Mohamad Ali al-Houthi, published photographs of Lebanon's George Kordahi, from a number of different regions in Yemen.
Al-Houthi had called yesterday for an emergency meeting to prevent Saudi products from entering Yemen, in response to KSA's actions against Lebanon.
