Ansar Allah strongly condemns al-Rashid Street massacre in Gaza
The Yemeni Ansar Allah movement says the "monstrous" crime is additional evidence of the level of Zionist brutality and hatred.
The Political Bureau of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement said it strongly condemns and denounces the crime of genocide committed by the Israeli occupation forces in the al-Nabulsi roundabout in the Gaza Strip, which has so far resulted in more than 100 martyrs and 700 injuries during the distribution of aid.
In a statement, Ansar Allah pointed out that this monstrous crime is additional evidence of the level of Zionist brutality and hatred, and is part of a series of ruthless targeting and genocide operations against the Palestinian people.
The movement stressed that the crimes of the Israeli occupation are a stain of disgrace on the forehead of the international community and international organizations that boast about international law and human rights.
It added that the continuation of the massacres in Gaza is a moral betrayal and downfall for the Arab and Islamic regimes that have failed to support the Palestinian people.
Ansar Allah held the United States fully responsible both morally and legally for the continued crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, pointing out that the US veto against stopping the war in Gaza is evidence of the political cover provided by Washington to support Israeli crimes.
The Yemeni movement called on the Arab and Islamic nations and the free people of the world to assume their religious, moral, and humanitarian responsibilities and take effective steps to compel the Israeli occupation to stop its crimes and lift the blockade on the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Earlier on Thursday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the death toll of the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces against Gazans who were waiting in line to receive aid packages at al-Rashid Street, west of Gaza City, rose to 112, noting that 760 have been wounded.
A field source from the Palestinian Resistance told Al Mayadeen that Israeli armored vehicles and tanks ran over the bodies of several martyrs, while others fired incendiary shells toward civilians in the area.
The occupation forces also arbitrarily detained hundreds of civilians in the same area, transferring them to an unknown location, the source mentioned.
Israeli source confirms army shot Palestinians waiting for aid: Report
Turkish-based news agency Anadolu Agency reported on Thursday, citing Israeli military sources, that the Israeli occupation forces deliberately opened fire at a group of Palestinians as they were waiting for humanitarian aid.
The source, who requested anonymity, told Anadolu that the shooting took place near the "humanitarian corridor" in southern Gaza. The Israeli occupation forces fired at Palestinians as they approached an Israeli force overseeing the entry of aid trucks into Gaza City.
The source attempted to justify the massacre on the basis that the Israeli forces "sensed danger as civilians approached them," prompting them to open fire.
The source further stated that the Israeli forces claimed a stampede occurred as they were trying to distribute aid. They blamed the crowded group for injuring other Palestinians and causing trucks to strike civilians.
