Arab nations on Friday condemned the latest Israeli airstrike on Beirut, which targeted the southern suburbs of Dahiye, resulting in a dozen martyrs and injuring hundreds of others.

The aggression has been met with strong denunciations from across the Arab world, including the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, led by its president, Algerian parliamentarian Ibrahim Boughali

The Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union

In a statement published Friday, Boughali expressed deep outrage over the Israeli strike, describing it as a "heinous crime" and a blatant act of terrorism against Lebanon.

The Union stressed that such attacks would not deter the Lebanese people from their legitimate resistance and defense of their land.

Boughali urged the international community and relevant organizations to take immediate action, calling for accountability for the perpetrators of this violent assault on Lebanese medical and civilian personnel.

Bahrain

In Bahrain, prominent cleric Sheikh Ali Al-Sadadi also condemned the strike, during his Friday sermon in Draz, a village west of the capital, Manama.

Al-Sadadi described the attack as crossing "red lines," accusing "Israel" of attempting to ignite war by aiming to kill 5,000 people, based on the number of explosive devices involved.

He stated that the attack left 32 dead and hundreds injured, some with severe and life-threatening wounds.

Sheikh Al-Sadadi prayed for the martyrs and urged swift justice against the Zionist aggressors, and called for the Islamic world to unite and collective action to thwart divisive enemy schemes.

He also praised Sayyed Ali Khamenei for his initiative to declare Islamic Unity Week, which runs from the 12th to the 17th of Rabi' al-Awwal, reinforcing the need for strength and resilience against the Zionist threat.

Yemen

In Yemen, the Ansarallah Political Bureau condemned the Israeli airstrike, referring to it as a criminal violation of Lebanese sovereignty and a war crime against its people.

Ansarallah accused the US of complicity in these "terrorist acts" and reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Lebanese Islamic resistance, offering condolences for the victims of the attack.

The Bureau also highlighted the resilience of the resistance, which retaliated by dealing significant blows to Israeli forces and security sites in a show of strength.

Despite the escalation, Ansarallah stressed that such aggression would not hinder the resistance’s support for Gaza and the Palestinian cause.

Hamas

Hamas issued a statement condemning the Zionist aggression targeting residential areas in Beirut's southern suburbs, viewing it as part of ongoing crimes against civilians intended to drag the region into a full-blown war.

They further describe the acts as crimes against humanity and criticize the International Security Council for its failure to respond, showing a bias towards the Israeli regime.

"This unacceptable and unjustifiable silence from the International Security Council on this barbaric attack by the Zionist occupation on the sovereignty of the State of Lebanon is a serious overstep and a clear bias towards the occupation, which is the internationally mandated body to enforce international peace and security and prevent attacks on state sovereignty and protect the rights of civilians within it," the statement read.

Hamas expressed appreciation for Hezbollah and the Lebanese people's support for Gaza, highlighting the unity and sacrifice in their struggle against Israeli occupation in Palestine, Lebanon, and the Golan Heights.
