The Ukrainian police chief stated that within the past 5 months, the police have opened 1,000 cases against "spies."
Igor Klymenko, Ukrainian police chief, said via his social media account that over 1,000 criminal cases pertaining to Russian "collaborators" have been opened in the past 5 months.
"More than 1,000 criminal proceedings have been initiated for collaboration activities. In addition, 174 people received a warning about suspicion [of committing collaboration activities]," Klymenko said.
More than 1,500 persons were also held by the police on suspicion of taking part in sabotage actions, Klymenko continued.
