In a recent call with Israeli occupation Security Minister Yoav Gallant, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III stressed the "urgent need to dramatically increase humanitarian assistance delivery to Gaza" including the implementation of steps "approved by the Israeli War Cabinet."

During the call with Gallant, and in light of the tragic incident involving World Central Kitchen humanitarian aid workers, both officials discussed the ongoing investigation being carried out by the Israeli occupation forces.

Austin then stressed the "need for procedural changes to ensure such incidents never happen again."

In turn, Gallant reportedly "provided details about the IDF's [IOF] withdrawal from portions of Gaza and the future of Israel's campaign against Hamas."

Additionally the US Secretary reiterated the US' unwavering support to "Israel" amid escalating tensions pertaining to Iran and the Axis of Resistance across the region.

Israeli attack on Iranian consulate only speeds its demise: IRGC

The Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps in Iran, Brigadier General Ali Fadavi, said that "Israel’s" terrorist attack against the Iranian consulate in Damascus will only speed up the occupation's demise.

“The evil nature of the world’s villains causes them to take actions that will accelerate their collapse, and this terrorist attack [in Damascus] will also speed up the decline of the occupying regime,” Fadavi said on April 7.

He added that "Israel" is not respecting any international regulations and is the main loser of the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.

Since the Israeli occupation launched its war on Gaza six months ago, it has committed horrendous crimes including massacring tens of thousands of innocent Palestinian children and women, Fadavi emphasized.
