Australian embassy convoy hit with explosion near Baghdad airport

Sky News reported that an explosion caused by an improvised explosive device took place in Al-Qadisiyah, a city located 160 kilometers away from the country's capital.
This explosion erupted on the path of military and diplomatic vehicles belonging to the Australian Embassy, which were heading to the Baghdad International Airport, Sabereen News reported.
One of the Embassy's armored vehicles was damaged in the explosion, a source reported.
There are no further details surrounding the attack, and no group has claimed responsibility for it so far.
