Bahraini Al-Wefaq refuses normalization from Beirut
Opposing the Israeli PM's visit to Bahrain, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Bahraini Al-Wefaq movement confirms the rejection of the "charade meeting," during the solidarity meeting held by the association in Beirut.
The Deputy Secretary-General of the Bahraini Al-Wefaq Society, Sheikh Hussein Al-Daihi, affirmed the rejection of Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's meeting with King Hamad bin Isa of Bahrain.
During the solidarity meeting held by the Bahraini Al-Wefaq movement in Beirut on Monday, Al-Daihi said: "We reject the charade meeting that brings together the King of Bahrain and the President of the Israeli entity."
He stressed that "we, as Bahraini people, will remain with the Palestinian cause and will not accept any normalization with the Israeli occupation."

Today, Israeli media confirmed the arrival of the Israeli prime minister to Bahrain's plane, while explaining that "Bennett is expected to meet with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in his private palace and with the Prime Minister and Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa."
This visit comes nearly a year and a half after Bahrain joined the path of normalization, as it signed with "Israel" the normalization agreement at the White House in mid-September 2020.
