The Operations Room of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah issued Wednesday its 4,638th statement since October 8, 2023, when it announced its mobilization as a support front for Gaza, and later, its defense of Lebanese territories amid the wide-scale Israeli aggression on Lebanon. 

"In solidarity with the resilient people of Palestine, in support of its valiant and steadfast Resistance, and in defense of our resilient Lebanese people, the Islamic Resistance has completed its path, fulfilling the command of its Secretary-General and noblest martyr, His Eminence, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and the torchbearer succeeding him, His Eminence Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem," the Operations Room said at the beginning of its statement.

It pointed out that "the Resistance remained steadfast in its pledge and struggle for more than 13 months, and was able to achieve victory against the delusional enemy, rendering it incapable of diminishing its determination or breaking its resolve."

It noted that the last word was that of the battlefield, which, with the bravery of its purest fighters, who embodied perseverance and resilience during the battles of Al-Aqsa Flood and People of Might and painted them with their blood, was able to shatter the enemy's objectives and defeat its army. 

'On the glorious occasion'

The statement goes on to reveal the achievements of the Resistance and its fighters since the beginning of the aggression, detailing the targets of its operations, and the losses incurred by the enemy.

Operations

- The total number of operations, over 417 days since October 8, 2023, executed by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon reached 4,637 declared military operations, averaging 11 per day. 

- Among these operations were 1,666 multifaceted military ones since the start of the aggression on Lebanon and the ignition of Operation People of Might on September 17, 2024, and averaged 23 operations per day. They targeted the positions, barracks, and bases of the Israeli enemy army, as well as Israeli cities and settlements, stretching from the Lebanese-Palestinian border and extending beyond the city of Tel Aviv. They also included the heroic resistance to the enemy's ground incursions into Lebanese territory.

- Within the paradigm of Operation People of Might, the Islamic Resistance carried out 105 military operations in its "Khaybar" series, targeting tens of sensitive and strategic military and security bases, for the first time since the establishment of the Israeli occupation entity, using advanced ballistic rockets, cruise missiles, and high-end assault drones, which reached territories beyond Tel Aviv, at a distance of 150 kilometers deep in occupied lands.

Israeli losses in Lebanon

The Resistance announced the total losses the Israeli occupation army suffered since the beginning of the ground operation on October 1, 2024, until the issuance of the 4,638th statement, which came as follows:

• More than 130 killed Israeli soldiers and over 1,250 wounded. 
• 59 destroyed Merkava tanks, 11 military bulldozers, two Humvees, two armored vehicles, and one armored personnel carrier. 
• Six Hermes 450 drones, two Hermes 900 drones, and one Quadcopter.

The toll does not include the Israeli losses at military bases, sites, settlements, and occupied cities. 

The Islamic Resistance asserts the following: 

- Throughout the entirety of the Israeli ground operation into Lebanese territories, and since October 1, 2024, the invading forces failed to occupy or settle in any of the frontline towns, which had been under fire since the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, failed to establish an isolated military and security zone, and was unable to obstruct rocket and drone launches into occupied territories. 

This is a direct product of the perseverance of the fighters on the battlefield, who continued striking enemy targets deep into occupied territories from the frontlines and border villages, until the final day of aggression. 

- The second phase of the ground operation was nothing but a political and media declaration, as the enemy was unable to advance into second-tier towns on the southern front. It suffered significant losses in Khiam, from which it withdrew three times, as well as in Ainata, Tallousa, Bint Jbeil, and al-Qawzah. The only attempt to advance was toward the towns of al-Bayyada and Chama in the western sector became a graveyard of the enemy's elite forces' tanks and soldiers. Those would later withdraw under the Resistance fighter's strikes and fire. 

- The Resistance's defensive plans are based on a patchwork defense system. The Resistance has established more than 300 defense lines south of the Litani River, with each patch being at its highest level of readiness in terms of manpower, equipment, and resources. The events of al-Bayada and Khiam serve as clear evidence.

The Islamic Resistance's Operations Room asserts that its fighters, who emerged from different military specialties, will remain at utmost readiness to confront the Israeli enemy's greed and violations. Their eyes will remain wide open, monitoring the enemy's movements and the withdrawal of its forces beyond the border. Their hands will rest on their guns' triggers, in defense of Lebanon's sovereignty, and for the sake of their people's dignity. 

To Our Honorable People

The statement also directly addressed the people of Lebanon, in a heartfelt letter that reads as follows: 

To our honorable people, 

 

O' most honorable people, noblest people, and purest people, O' dear and proud people, O' free people of our nation, you who have shattered, with your legendary resilience and sacrifices, which knew no limits, the enemy's delusions.

 

Victory, granted by Almighty God, has aligned with the just cause, which you have embraced and carried all the way back to your villages and homes, with pride and strength. You travel across the land with victory, bearing the tall and steadfast flag, which will remain unbreakbale against oppression and aggression, on both the battlefield and in your essence. 

 

The Islamic Resistance, which has offered the jewels of its leaders and fighters in the path of God, in defense of its homeland and people, and to champion the oppressed Palestinian people, addresses you, all the free people of the world, and the fighters on the battlefields today, with a salute of arms, Jihad, martyrdom, and victory. 

 

It pledges in the name of its fighters and knights, to all the pure blood and sacred souls, to continue the path of resistance with even greater determination, and to keep standing by the oppressed, the weak, and the fighters in Palestine, and its capital, al-Quds, will remain a symbol and path for generations dreaming of freedom and liberation.
