Biden battered over Sayyed Nasrallah assassination remarks, complicity
US President Joe Biden's characterization of Sayyed Nasrallah’s assassination as a "measure of justice" has sparked public outrage.
US President Joe Biden's comments regarding the assassination of Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah have confirmed the US involvement in the act.
"Israel" had launched a series of heavy airstrikes on residential neighborhoods in the Southern Suburb of Beirut last Friday. The IOF announced that the goal of the attack was the assassination of Sayyed Nasrallah, and Israeli Army Radio pointed out that F-35 aircraft carried out the airstrikes using bunker-buster bombs.
The following day, Hezbollah released a statement announcing the martyrdom of its Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, joining a handful of Resistance leaders who dedicated their lives for the sake of fighting against the Israeli occupation.
While US officials quickly attempted to distance Washington from the attack, Biden’s Sunday statement confirmed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had secured approval for the operation during his recent visit to New York for the UN General Assembly.
Biden's characterization of Sayyed Nasrallah’s assassination as a "measure of justice" sparked public outrage, particularly among those already angered by the attack on residential areas in Dahiyeh.

Biden defends US support for 'Israel' amid rising death toll
Social media users condemned the US president for defending "Israel's" actions and highlighted the US government’s role in supporting Tel Aviv’s aggression on Lebanon and Palestine. Many pointed to the continued US arms shipments, including bunker-buster bombs, provided to "Israel" since October 2023, funded by billions of dollars from American taxpayers.
Critics called Biden’s statement reckless and inflammatory, warning that it could further escalate tensions amid the ongoing Israeli-US war on Gaza, which has resulted in more than 42,600 killings over the past year.
Assal Rad, a US-based historian and author, criticized the US government for permitting "Israel's" continued bombardment of Lebanon. She referenced a New York Times report that implied the US was "powerless" in stopping the actions of Tel Aviv.

Rad pushed back on this narrative, stating, “This framing from NYT makes it sound like the world’s biggest powers are powerless, but Biden has enormous leverage. Letting Israel do whatever it wants is a choice.”
Biden, Harris complicit in Israeli massacres
Other users highlighted the use of "2,000-pound bunker buster bombs" by "Israel" in the attack on the Southern Suburb, stating that both Biden and Kamala Harris are complicit in the ongoing massacres, with the bombs being provided by the US.

Meanwhile, social media user Khalissee quoted Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov criticizing Biden’s remarks, stating that “his words about the correctness of killing the Hezbollah leader demonstrate the US approach to conflicts.”
Khalissee also referenced past comments, saying, “Remember how Hillary Clinton... was delighted and laughed... Or Madeleine Albright, who commented on the deaths caused by US aggression against Iraq, said: well, yes, 400,000 died, but it was worth it.”

In a similar context, an X account named MG Mughal also voiced strong condemnation of US-backed Israeli war crimes in Lebanon and Gaza. He stated, “The world must stand up to these bullies... Ugly monsters... The good part is, they’re on the edge of their worst fall but totally unaware... Of course, God's justice is the best one... Yeppp.”
Motasem A Dalloul, a journalist based in Gaza, criticized Biden for labeling the assassination of the Lebanese Resistance leader as “a measure of justice for his victims.” He remarked, “Biden, who claims he is seeking an end to Israeli aggression, calls Israel’s use of bunker buster bombs that destroy high rises in Lebanon ‘a measure of justice,’” while sharing an image of the devastating airstrikes that left buildings in ruins.

Ben Norton, a well-known journalist, used X to highlight US complicity in the ongoing massacres in Lebanon and Gaza. He stated, “These US war criminals are sponsoring a colonial genocide in Gaza and a war of aggression on Lebanon... The Hague has accused Israeli officials of crimes against humanity, and their crimes would not be possible without the weapons and support provided by the Biden administration.”

'Exporters of terrorism': US and 'Israel'
Independent British journalist Richard Medhurst described both "Israel" and the US as “exporters of terrorism,” asserting that most people around the world view them as “violent exporters of terrorism.”
He questioned, “Would you accept someone wiping out Biden or Netanyahu, along with several residential buildings? Westerners are so arrogant to think only they can do this. Where is the line drawn?”

Jill Stein, an American Green Party politician and presidential candidate, emphasized the involvement of Biden and Harris in facilitating Israeli actions in Lebanon that she characterizes as genocidal.
She stated, “Yesterday the US sent another $8.7 billion to Israel. Today, Netanyahu said there's a ‘missile in every kitchen’ in Lebanon and bombed a whole housing block in Beirut….”
