Biden's campaign: A con show to get Nikki Haley's supporters' votes
Biden's election campaign is streaming ads targeted at Nikki Haley's supporters, dissing Trump to get their votes.
US President Joe Biden's presidential campaign promoted a series of advertisements aimed at appealing to Nikki Haley's supporters to garner their support and votes, the Washington Post reported.
Nikki Haley dropped out of the race earlier in March and delegated her supporters' votes to Trump.
The report indicated that a million dollars were invested to market the ads, which show a clip of former president Donald Trump saying he does need Haley's supporters' votes to win the presidential elections.
RealClearPolitics data revealed Friday afternoon, that Trump maintains a 3.2-point advantage over Biden in the seven key battleground states, but holds only a 1-point lead nationally.
Earlier, Biden and Trump secured their respective parties' presidential nominations through significant victories in several primaries, paving the way for a general election rematch that isn't favored by many voters.
The results in Georgia, Mississippi, and Washington states were predictable, with neither Biden nor Trump facing substantial challenges. However, the overwhelming margin of their victories ensured that each candidate obtained the necessary delegate majority to secure their party's nomination at the upcoming national conventions.
It is now evident that the upcoming fall election will see a repeat match between two widely unpopular presidents. At 81, Biden holds the distinction of being the oldest president in US history, while Trump, aged 77, faces potential decades in prison as a defendant in four criminal cases. This rematch, a rare occurrence featuring two US presidents, is likely to further exacerbate the nation's profound political and cultural divides throughout the demanding eight-month campaign period ahead.

Biden's State of the Union becomes a roast for Trump
Two weeks ago, in a 68-minute State of the Union address to Congress, US President Joe Biden took the chance to point to the pros and cons between himself and his Republican rival, former president Donald Trump, among other matters like Russia, abortion, the border crisis, and the war on Gaza.
Although Biden did not mention Trump by name, his comments were centered on him, as he kicked off his speech by declaring democracy is under threat domestically and abroad while criticizing Trump for encouraging Russian President Vladimir Putin to attack NATO.
He said, "Now my predecessor, a former Republican president, tells Putin, quote, 'Do whatever you want'... I think it's outrageous, it's dangerous and it's unacceptable."
In response, Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, "He said I bowed down to the Russian Leader. He gave them everything, including Ukraine."
