Biden's doctors believe cognitive test is unnecessary: WH Secretary
Earlier today, Biden underwent an annual health exam and the White House Press Secretary revealed that a memo from Biden's doctor will be released once it is ready.
US President Joe Biden’s doctors do not think he must take a cognitive exam, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre revealed today.
After being questioned regarding the cognitive test, Jean-Pierre replied during a press briefing “The president doesn’t need a cognitive test. That is not my assessment. That is the assessment of the president’s doctor. That is also the assessment of the neurologist."
She further emphasized that "simply by serving as a US president," Biden succeeds in a cognitive test every day.
Biden underwent earlier today an annual health exam and the White House will release a memo from Biden’s doctor once the document is done, Jean-Pierre announced.
It is noteworthy that this is Biden's third annual exam since his term as president began and it was done at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Biden amused doctors think he 'looks too young'
US President Joe Biden stated today that doctors believe he looks "too young" after they performed his annual physical examination.
He informed reporters "They think I look too young," adding "There is nothing different than last year."
Biden mixes up Mexico's and Egypt's presidents
On February 8, US President Joe Biden clapped back at remarks made by Special Counsel Robert Hur that questioned his mental acumen and his management of certain classified documents.
In the investigation, Hur concluded that Biden intentionally kept and shared classified information. However, a Justice Department report released on February 8 stated that Hur did not recommend criminal charges be pressed against him.
The report also raised claims such as the president forgetting when his son Beau had died.
Reporters who discussed the file with Biden also asked him about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, to which Biden responded, mixing up the Mexican and Egyptian presidents. Referring to Egypt's El-Sisi, Biden said "The Mexican President, Sisi", once again calling into question his mental capabilities and awareness.
It looks like the majority of US voters disagree
A recent national poll of registered voters conducted by Quinnipiac University revealed that the proportion of American voters who consider President Joe Biden too old to serve another four-year term in the White House has now doubled compared to a year ago, reaching two-thirds.
The organization reported on February 21 that "Voters 67% – 31% think that President Joe Biden is too old to effectively serve another 4-year term as president, compared to 68 – 28% in Quinnipiac University’s September 2023 poll."
In contrast, as per Quinnipiac, voters currently hold the belief by a margin of 57% to 41% that former President Donald Trump is not too old to effectively serve another four-year term in the White House. This signifies a shift from the previous poll conducted in September, where the margin stood at 63% to 34%.
Earlier this month, a Gallup survey found that fewer than 40% of American voters feel US President Joe Biden deserves to be reelected. His public favor rating has been below 50% since August 2021, raising concerns among his fellow Democrats as he prepares for a rematch with Republican former President Donald Trump in November.
