Biden: US not supplying Kiev with missiles capable of hitting Russia
The US President reveals that Washington is not intending on supplying Ukraine with missiles that can hit Russian territory.
According to Reuters, US President Joe Biden stated on Monday that Washington will not provide Kiev with missile weapons capable of targeting Russian territory.
Days ago, CNN reported that US administration officials had wanted to reveal a fresh package of military supplies to Ukraine next week, which may include multiple-launch rocket launchers.
According to the report, Kiev has asked the US for MLRS M270 and M142 HIMARS.
However, according to Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby, the US has not taken a final decision on supplying its MLRS to Ukraine.

Since Russia's special military campaign began in February, the Biden administration has already supplied Ukraine with 1,400 Stinger anti-aircraft systems and 5,500 Javelins.
However, this assistance falls short of what Ukraine claims it requires. Kiev requested 500 Javelins and 500 Stingers every day in March, but US officials told CNN that the Pentagon believes Ukraine is exaggerating its needs.
Since the start of the war in Ukraine, the United States had already given Kiev some $1 billion in economic aid, in addition to an additional $500 million earlier, not to mention the military aid the US has given Kiev since Biden took office.
The US is still sending arms to Ukraine despite the Russian Ambassador to the US, Anatoly Antonov, warning that the influx of Western arms to the conflict zone in Ukraine was adding fuel to the fire.
