Biden's approval rate drops by 20% among young Americans: Poll
A new opinion poll reveals a decline in the support of US President Joe Biden among young Americans.
An opinion poll conducted by the Morning Consult found that support for US President Joe Biden has declined among young Americans.
The Morning Consult poll found that Biden's approval rating fell 20% among voters between the ages of 18 and 34 from January 2021 to June 2022.
According to the poll, only 43% of young Democratic voters believe that Biden is respecting the promises that he made during his campaign, compared to 60% of average Democratic voters.
In addition, Biden's approval rate dropped to 41% among multiple age groups surveyed from June 4-6, 2022, the Morning Consult poll showed, including young voters - 52% of whom disapproved of Biden's performance - as well as voters aged 35-44 and 65 and older.
It is noteworthy that a previous poll conducted by The Institute of Politics at Harvard University on adults between the ages of 18 and 29 showed that support for the US president among young Americans decreased from 46% to 41%.
A Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted earlier this month revealed that 52% of Americans are dissatisfied with US President Joe Biden's performance.
