Nearly a year into the US-fueled war in Ukraine, former US President Donald Trump warned on Tuesday that US President Joe Biden's Ukraine policies might spark World War III.

"If you watch and understand the moves being made by Biden on Ukraine, he is systematically, but perhaps unknowingly, pushing us into what could soon be World War III. How crazy is that?" Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.

On Monday, Trump told a group of supporters in Florida that if re-elected, he will contact Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to find a quick solution to the Ukraine crisis.

Trump's remarks came following Biden's trip to Kiev on Monday in a demonstration of US unwavering "support" for Ukraine.

For "security reasons", the visit, which included a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, was unannounced before Biden traveled over to Poland for discussions in Warsaw, as per media reports.

During his quick visit, Biden revealed half a billion dollars in further supplies to Ukraine, “including artillery ammunition, anti-armor systems, and air surveillance radars,” according to a White House statement, and will detail further sanctions “against elites and companies that are trying to evade or backfill Russia’s war machine” later this week.

On his account, Zelensky stated  that he and Biden spoke about “long-range weapons and the weapons that may still be supplied to Ukraine even though it wasn’t supplied before.”

Trump is not alone in raising a red flag of an approaching “world war” mainly due to the West's policies.  The leader of France's far-right Eurosceptic party The Patriots, Florian Philippot, has recently stated that NATO’s strategy towards military assistance to Ukraine could result in the much-avoided World War III.

The head of the largest opposition faction in France, Marine Le Pen, agreed with far-right leader Florian Philippot that NATO’s strategy toward direct military assistance to Ukraine could result in the much-avoided World War III.

Meanwhile, the head of the party Debout la France (France Arise) and a former French presidential candidate Nicolas Dupont-Aignan advised Paris to halt its supplies for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky following his effort to ignite a third World war.
