Bin Habtoor: Birth Deformities Are Caused by Prohibited Saudi Weapons
The Prime Minister of Sanaa, Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, says that birth deformities in Hodeidah are the making of prohibited weapons that the Saudi-led aggression deliberately used against Yemeni children.
Sanaa's Prime Minister Abdulaziz bin Habtoor said that "The birth defects that newborns are suffering from, especially in Hodeidah, are an aftermath of the use of prohibited weapons that the Saudi-led aggression employed against Yemen, not to mention its systemtic tampering with the environment and its basic elements."
Bin Habtoor said the "Saudi-US coalition of aggression holds all legal and moral responsibility for the tragedy experienced by Yemeni children."
This comes in light of a meeting today between bin Habtoor and the Minister of State Hamid al-Mazjaji, who briefed him on the health and environmental problems in Hodeidah Governorate, especially in the districts of Zabid, al-Jarrahi and al-Tahita, south of the coastal governorate on the Red Sea in western Yemen.
He advised the Ministry of Public Health and Population and the Ministry of Water and Environment to study all angles of the health and environmental situation in the aformentioned areas and to send specialized emergency teams and committees to take the necessary measures.
Earlier today, Mohammad al-Bakhiti, a member of the Supreme Political Council of Ansar Allah, told Al Mayadeen in an interview that "the enemy has endured considerable losses so far in the battle of Marib," and that the complete liberation of Marib is a "matter of time."
In late September, a Yemeni military source reported that the Army and the Popular Committees fended off a large-scale advancement by the Saudi-led coalition forces in al-Bire, a village in the Hays District, south of Hodeidah. The village saw a ceasefire agreement mediated by the United Nations, which has been in effect since December 18, 2018.
