Borrell: The European Union Will not Hold Talks with Iran in Brussels
The future of the Vienna Talks seems unclear at the moment.
The European Union played down on Monday the prospect of serious talks on Iran's nuclear program outside the framework of negotiations between the parties in Vienna.
In this context, the EU's foreign policy chief, Josep Borell, said that "time was not on their side."
Khatibzadeh: Talks with the EU were good and constructive
It should be noted that on Monday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Saeed Khatibzadeh, announced that Tehran has begun talks with the EU and will discuss the issues holding down the talks in Brussels.
Khatibzadeh considered that Iran's talks with the assistant foreign policy chief of the EU, Enrique Mora, "were good and constructive."
AmirAbdollahian: Iran will follow a "step by step" Policy.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein AmirAbdollahian was quoted in a closed meeting as saying that Iran will follow a "step by step" policy in the Vienna talks resuming "next week."
In a statement to the Fars News Agency, Iranian MP Alireza Mirsalimi stressed that the Americans "must prove their good intentions and credibility before negotiations."
