The BRICS group called for a peaceful solution in Afghanistan and the preservation of the Iranian nuclear agreement, stressing the need to help arrange a comprehensive dialogue, and to thwart attempts by terrorist organizations to abuse Afghan lands.

At the end of the summit led by India, the group emphasized the necessity of diplomatically addressing the Iranian nuclear matter, while the Chinese Chairman underlined that it was an international "not-for-counted" force.

Over the past 15 years, the five countries have adhered to the spirit of openness, inclusiveness, and equality, and insisted on cooperation in the spirit of pragmatism, innovation, and win-win cooperation, said Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The BRICS countries have become an important "not-for-counted" force on the international stage, and what happened shows that in any case, it can achieve smooth, steady, and sustainable progress in BRICS cooperation as long as an effort is made.

The 5 countries which include Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, also recognized that in a world of interconnectedness and globalization, no one is safe unless everyone is safe.

At the summit, the five emerging economies acknowledged that the production of Covid-19 vaccines provided the greatest hope for overcoming the pandemic and that mass vaccination against the disease was a global public good, expressing the inequities in access to vaccines, diagnostics, and treatment, especially for the world's poorest and weakest populations.
