By targeting US bases, Iraqi Resistance joins in battle: Exclusive
The military spokesperson for the Iraqi Kataib Hezbollah says the Iraqi Resistance has the capabilities to target all US bases.
The military spokesperson for the Iraqi Kataib Hezbollah, Jaafar al-Husseini, announced on Wednesday, that the Iraqi Resistance has entered the battlefield as of today and is directing its strikes toward US bases.
Al-Husseini told Al Mayadeen that the Iraqi Resistance achieved today its first hits, confirming the continuation of its operations at a higher pace.
This comes after sources in the Iraqi Islamic Resistance confirmed to Al Mayadeen on Wednesday that the Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for multiple operations targeting US forces located on Iraqi soil, vowing more operations.

The sources said that the Iraqi Islamic Resistance conducted "operations targeting US forces in Ain al-Assad and Harir in Iraqi Kurdistan."
In the same context, Reuters reported that the US army foiled an attack targeting its forces in Iraq on Wednesday, intercepting two drones before they reached their target.
It mentioned that this indicates the start of Iraqi Resistance factions implementing their threats to target US interests in the country, due to the US support for the Israeli occupation in its aggression on Gaza.
The US Central Command acknowledged injuries among coalition forces during the drone attack in western Iraq.
The military spokesperson for the Iraqi Kataib Hezbollah underlined that the Resistance in Iraq has the capabilities to target all American bases and even expel US forces from the country.
Touching on the statements of US President Joe Biden, al-Husseini pointed out that the United States is an essential partner in the killing of the children of Gaza and therefore must bear the consequences.
Iraqi factions had previously pledged that they "will not stand idly by in the face of the ongoing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza."
Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces chief Faleh al-Fayyad said in an interview with Al Mayadeen on Saturday that Iraq will carry out "all duties toward the Palestinians, whether at the level of aid or at the military level."
