A military vehicle loaded with weapons exploded inside a metal workshop in Aleppo's Mashhad neighborhood, injuring one person and sparking panic among residents, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.
Local sources in Aleppo Governorate reported that a military vehicle loaded with weapons exploded inside a metalworking shop in the Mashhad neighborhood of Aleppo city, according to the SOHR. The sources added that the explosion occurred while a blacksmith was performing maintenance and welding work on the vehicle.
According to available information, the explosion resulted in at least one injury and caused panic among the residents of the densely populated neighborhood. The SOHR warned of the dangers of the proliferation of military equipment and armaments in civilian areas, warning of similar incidents taking place in the future.
'Israel' continues its incursion into Quneitra
Meanwhile, on Friday, three military vehicles belonging to the Israeli occupation army advanced from the town of Khan Arnaba toward the road connecting to Ofanya, before turning in the direction of the village of al-Hurriyah in the Quneitra countryside of southern Syria.
According to sources from the SOHR, no confrontations or casualties have been reported so far as a result of this incursion.
This comes just one day after Israeli forces carried out a new ground invasion inside Syrian territory, during which six military vehicles entered the village of al-Samadaniyah in the central Quneitra countryside and established an inspection checkpoint in the area.
Syrian territory, particularly the Quneitra province, has been experiencing a continuous Israeli escalation in recent months, marked by repeated airstrikes and ground incursions in a clear violation of Syrian sovereignty.
