According to the government media office of Gaza, the number of martyrs has reached a total of 5,087 and the number of wounded has reached 15,273 citizens since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7.

The total number of children martyred has reached 2,055 and the number of martyred women has reached 1,119 and over 217 senior Palestinians.

The statement highlighted that the number of martyrs in the southern Gaza Strip reached 1,652, despite the fact that the Israeli occupation claimed that the areas of southern Gaza were considered safe and not targeted.

Furthermore, horrific massacres are being committed forcing the displacement of Palestinians to roads, homes of relatives, and shelters, which has caused the disappearance of over 1,500 people including 830 children. The total number of those displaced has now reached 1 million and 400 thousand citizens, nearly 70% of the Gaza Strip.

The spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that medical teams are facing severe injuries like skin melting on the wounded, which are extremely difficult to heal.

The government media office in the Gaza Strip stated that "occupation aircraft launched dozens of raids last night on different governorates in the Strip."

The government office explained that some of these raids directly targeted more than 18 houses and residential buildings inhabited by civilians, resulting in dozens of martyrs and hundreds of injuries, adding that 17 were killed in one of the bombings.

According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza, more than 500 martyrs were killed during the past 24 hours.

He pointed out that this morning, the occupation's targeting of a house in Deir al-Balah in the middle of the Gaza Strip led to the death of at least ten martyrs from the Abu Dan family.

It is noteworthy that last night was considered one of the most violent nights in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the Israeli aggression after the occupation committed more than 25 massacres that led to the death of around 400 martyrs and hundreds of wounded.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Cairo reported last week that approximately 100 trucks carrying 1,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid are waiting to enter from Egypt into the Gaza Strip.
