Deadly night in Gaza: Israeli airstrike on café kills at least 10
The Israeli occupation has continued its brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip for two weeks, targeting homes, residential towers, bakeries, and hospitals.
A devastating Israeli airstrike unleashed havoc upon a cafe in the city of Khan Yunis, situated in the southern Gaza Strip. The grim aftermath saw the loss of a minimum of 10 lives and left numerous Palestinians grievously wounded, according to reports from the Palestinian news agency, WAFA.
The agency reported killing 29 Palestinians due to the relentless Israeli airstrikes that brutally pounded various regions throughout the Gaza Strip on Saturday afternoon.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in occupied Palestine reported that more than 50 Palestinians were martyred just last night due to Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

On Saturday night, Israeli aircraft bombed a house west of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of 12 Palestinians from a single family so far, including three children.
The Israeli warplanes also renewed their shelling of al-Awdah and al-Nada towers in the northern and eastern parts of Beit Lahia, simultaneously targeting Abu Ureif Street in the center of the Gaza Strip with airstrikes and illuminating bombs. Furthermore, Israeli occupation forces targeted the internal security headquarters and several civilian homes in the al-Jneineh neighborhood in Rafah city.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes conducted intensive and violent air raids on the al-Zeitoun neighborhood in the eastern part of Gaza City, targeting several houses, with reported casualties, missing individuals, and injuries.
Our correspondent also confirmed that Israeli forces targeted a house in Jabalya city in the northern Gaza Strip with airstrikes.
Additionally, Israeli warplanes carried out intense airstrikes, coinciding with heavy artillery shelling, on various locations in Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, targeting areas in the eastern part of the Shuja'iya neighborhood in the eastern Gaza City with a series of violent airstrikes.
Our correspondent also confirmed that the Israeli occupation targeted the area along the 1948-occupied Palestinian territories and the Gaza Strip separation fence with intense artillery shelling that extended along the line.
Humanitarian crisis worsens
Earlier, the Rafah crossing was opened for 20 trucks carrying international aid to Gazans. The crossing had been subject to multiple air raids by the Israeli occupation forces since October 7, as "Israel" tightened its total blockade on the Strip.
However, none of the trucks contained fuel for the Strip. Energy supplies in Gaza are extremely low, threatening to put vital machines in hospitals out of service and risking civilian lives.
Adnan Abu Hasna, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) spokesperson, told Al Mayadeen that Gaza needs a hundred truckloads per day to meet the needs of forcibly displaced people,
In this regard, five United Nations agencies announced on Saturday that the situation in the Gaza Strip has been "catastrophic" as they urged for further international assistance given the deteriorating conditions across the Strip.
"More than 1.6 million people in Gaza are in critical need of humanitarian aid," said the agencies, adding that "children, pregnant women, and the elderly remain the most vulnerable."
The statement also underscored that "nearly half of Gaza's population are children" and that "Gaza was a desperate humanitarian situation before the most recent hostilities," however, "it is now catastrophic."
"The world must do more," urged the statement by the signatories: the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, the World Food Programme, the UNDP, and the UNFPA.
