China fully supports Kazakh government
In a verbal message to Tokayev, Jinping expresses full support to the Kazakh government and rejects 'color revolutions' and malicious foreign interventions.
Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed that China supports Kazakhstan in easing the civil unrest, stressing that China stands against attempts to undermine the security and stability of the country, as well as attemps to damage the friendship and cooperation which exists between the two.
These comments were made in a verbal message to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the president of Kazakhstan, on Friday. Xi expressed his 'sincere sympathy' to Tokayev over what is happening in Kazakhstan, which have been leading to many casualties and property loss, as reported by China Daily.
Furthermore, Xi expressed his support for the drastic measures which were taken by the president to stabilize the situation, contending that Tokayev has proven himself greatly responsible for his country and people.
Xi stressed China's strong opposition against any force which attempts to undermine the stability of Kazakhstan, in addition to threatening its security. External forces maliciously inciting turmoil and masterminding a "color revolution" were also strongly opposed, China daily reported; China announced that it is ready to provide the necessary support for the country to overcome its obstacles, according to the Chinese president.

Shanghai Cooperation Organization 'ready to help'
On Friday, China revealed that members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) are “willing to play a positive role in stabilizing the situation” in Kazakhstan, and that “Safeguarding member states’ and regional stability has always been the principle and mission of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization."
China said that one of the 9 members of the SCO is Wang Wenbin, who is a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
“China and other SCO members are closely watching Kazakhstan’s situation and are willing to play a positive role in stabilizing the situation,” Chinese daily Global Times quoted Wenbin.
Kazakhstan's president, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has recently called on the CSTO to aid him in containing the turbulent situation in the country, after which Beijing released a statement.
Wenbin contended, “China has noticed that Kazakhstan is taking a series of measures to counter terrorism and defend stability. China supports all its efforts in quelling the situation and firmly opposes external forces that incite violence and chaos in the region."
“As its neighbor and permanent comprehensive strategic partner, China is willing to offer all necessary support to Kazakhstan to help it overcome recent difficulties.”
