People's Liberation Army Warships, including a Type 075 amphibious assault ship, began arriving in Chinese coastal cities on Monday to prepare for public open-house events celebrating the upcoming PLA Navy founding anniversary.

The Hainan, the PLA Navy's first Type 075 amphibious assault ship commissioned in 2021, arrived at a port in its namesake province of South China's Hainan on Monday, China Central Television reported, with the vessel, with the key PLA Navy vessel set to welcome the public from Thursday to Saturday through online reservations.

Additionally, the Type 052D guided missile destroyer Nanjing and the Type 056A corvette Lu'an arrived in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, on Monday, for a scheduled public open-house event running Tuesday through Wednesday, according to CCTV. This marks the first time active-duty PLA Navy warships have returned to Taizhou, the historic birthplace of the Chinese navy.
