Earlier on Sunday dawn, our correspondent said that an Israeli airstrike targeted a home in Hay al-Ausayrah to the east of Baalbek city.
Israeli occupation forces continue to target civilians, their homes, and their vehicles in Lebanon, in a deliberate form of intimidation.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah has responded in an equal fashion to such attacks by targeting Israeli settlements and military sites in operations specifically linked to previous Israeli attacks against civilians, with the latest one targeting the missile and artillery base in "Yoav" and "Keila'" barracks (headquarters of the anti-Air and Missile Command) early Sunday.
In a statement, Hezbollah indicated that the attack comes in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their brave and honorable Resistance and in response to the Israeli attack on the city of Baalbek in eastern Lebanon.
It highlighted that the attack on the "Keila'" barracks, with more than 60 Katyusha rockets, coincided with exercises by a force from the Golani Brigade that had returned from the Gaza Strip.
The group has also pledged support to the Palestinian people and their Resistance in the Gaza Strip conducted an extensive series of operations against Israeli military targets since October 8, 2023.
