Moreover, the Israeli occupation forces had arrested two young Palestinians from Silwan during violent confrontations in the town, Palestinian media reported.
"The Israeli occupation forces were heavily mobilized in Bir Ayoub, the entrance to Ein Al-Lawza, and Al-Ein street in Silwan," the same media added, noting that the Israeli occupation forces had set up roadblocks and closed off streets in the town, bombarding the area with grenades.
The two young men the IOF arrested are Munther Rwaidi and Ihab Abu Sneina.
The Palestinian people responded to the Israeli violations and abuses, throwing stones at the Israeli occupation forces and the settlers accompanying them.
