Corbyn: We are witnessing ethnic cleansing in Gaza
Jeremy Corbyn, the former Chairman of the British Labour Party, contends that the Israeli actions in Gaza are illegal under international law and cannot be justified as a response to the events of October 7.
Former Chairman of the British Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn, claimed on Monday that "Israel" is ethnically cleansing Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
In a tweet on the X, Corbyn stated that the Israeli practices violate international law, emphasizing that they cannot be justified as a response to the events of October 7th.

The former leader of the British Labour Party questioned whether the occupation entity's ultimate goal was to forcibly displace the entire population of Gaza to Egypt.
Corbyn also inquired with the British government regarding the objectives and role of British military operations in the entire region. Additionally, he sought clarification on whether there were British military personnel stationed in Gaza.
The British Sky News network reported the death of the British citizen Binyamin Needham, stating that he was killed while participating in ground incursions with the occupation army in the Gaza Strip. This comes as the Palestinian resistance confronts the incursions as part of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

The network suggested that Needham was the second British citizen to be killed while fighting alongside the occupation forces since October 7, noting that the first was Nathaniel Young.
The network cited details from the Israeli Times of Israel website regarding Needham. It clarified that he served with the 601st Battalion of the Combat Engineering Corps in the Occupation Army. The report also mentioned that he arrived in Gaza only two days before his death and had recently completed his military training.
This is not the first time Corbyn stands in solidarity with Palestine against the Israeli occupation's ongoing aggression against the Strip. In an earlier statement on October 16, he stated "Our political leaders lack either the courage or the humanity to hold the Israeli government to account."
