Corbyn slams UK 'Israel' arms supply after Al-Aqsa Hospital massacre
British MP Jeremy Corbyn has expressed strong condemnation of the UK government's continued arms supply to "Israel" following a harrowing massacre at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza.
Independent British MP and former Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn condemned the UK government's ongoing arms supply to "Israel" following a recent attack on Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza, where "Israel" burned forcibly displaced people alive in their tents.
In a post on X, Corbyn questioned, "If the sight of human beings burning alive won’t stop the UK government supplying arms to Israel, what will?"
Previously, he criticized "Israel's" actions over the past year, asserting, "Israel has spent the past year desecrating international law on live TV. Now it is waging war on the UN itself, including 10,000 peacekeepers from 50 countries stationed in Lebanon."
Corbyn urged the UK government to terminate its military, economic, and diplomatic support for the Israeli occupation in light of the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
'Israel' burns Palestinians alive in Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital
At least four Palestinians were killed and over 40 others were injured in the Israeli bombardment of makeshift tents set up by forcibly displaced Palestinians on the grounds of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.
The Gaza Civil Defense reiterated that not a single safe place in the Strip exists, with the most recent attack against civilians and patients at the hospital serving as additional proof.
As a result of the violent bombings, fires broke out, burning at least 30 tents and civilians sheltering inside. The raging flames were spreading to the hospital itself as civil defense crews tried to contain them.
Commenting on the harrowing Israeli carnage, Philippe Lazzarini, the commissioner-general of UNRWA, described it as another night of horror in central Gaza, highlighting the devastation caused by airstrikes.

In a post on X, Lazzarini said a strike hit the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Hospital, where people had taken shelter, igniting tents in flames. Meanwhile, a UNRWA school in the same area was also struck, resulting in the killing of 20 people. The school was set to be a site for a polio vaccination campaign that had to be canceled due to the extensive damage.
"Gaza is a never-ending hell," Lazzarini stated, urging that such conditions must not become the norm and emphasizing the need for humanity to prevail.
