Countries across the world commemorate 75th anniversary of Nakba
The demonstrators confirmed their solidarity with the Palestinians and their right to end the occupation.
The anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba is an occasion to confirm the continuation of the Palestinian people's struggle for their sacred right of return, which will not be lost as long as Palestinian generations adhere to this right, said the head of the EuroPal Forum in the UK, Zaher Birawi.
EuroPal is a London-based NGO that advocates for Palestine and the Palestinian people.
Birawi made his remarks during a demonstration in London on the 75th anniversary of Nakba, where the protesters matched toward the British cabinet headquarters chanting in support of Palestine and denouncing the Israeli occupation.

Birawi called on the British government to recognize its historical responsibility for the suffering of Palestinians since the Balfour Declaration until today, by immediately halting support for the occupying entity, stopping all forms of support for it in international forums, ending the Israeli occupation, and establishing an independent Palestinian state with its capital Al-Quds.
He also confirmed that the forum continues to put pressure on the British government through all available means, including the various events on this anniversary, to take practical measures to achieve these demands, the least of which is imposing sanctions on "Israel" to force it to abide by international laws and human rights and to stop its crimes and attacks on our people in all of Palestine, and in the Gaza Strip in particular.
"Britain's failure to recognize its historical responsibility for the suffering of the Palestinians, and its continued support for the occupation and its silence on its crimes against the Palestinians, will always make Britain, in the eyes of the Palestinians, a partner in these crimes," he said.
