Taking precautionary measures
Authorities in the Russian city limited road traffic in the city center as a precautionary measure.

The city could still be the target of Ukrainian attacks, Sevastopol's Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev wrote on Telegram.
"Attention! Another attack is possible. Please do not go to the city center. Do not leave the buildings. All those who are near the fleet headquarters — at the sound of the siren, proceed to shelters. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia are working on the spot. An airmobile group is ready. Backup equipment has been provided," Razvozhaev said on Telegram.
The official also said emergency personnel are diligently working to contain the fire that erupted in the aftermath of the missile strike on the building.
In the meantime, Sergey Aksyonov, Crimea's leader, also verified on Friday that Russian air defenses successfully intercepted and neutralized cruise missiles over the Russian peninsula.
"Air defense forces shot down cruise missiles over the territory of the Republic of Crimea. Stay calm and trust only official sources of information," he wrote on Telegram.
