Protests erupted in the city of Makhachkala, the capital of the Republic of Dagestan, which enjoys a degree of autonomy within the Russian Federation, after an airplane coming from "Tel Aviv", occupied Palestine, landed in the city's airport.

Trending videos show an angry crowd attempting to identify the Israeli passengers on board the plane. The enraged pro-Palestinian crowd stormed the city's airport, while demonstrators tried to "inspect" departing vehicles.

An official from Dagestan's security apparatus has stated that "the situation is not resolved yet, and there are Israelis under protection."

In an exclusive interview with Al Mayadeen, Shihab al-Din Husainov, Head of the Foreign Relations Department at the Dagestan Office of the Mufti, affirmed that the public anger in Dagestan and the protesters marching towards the airport was a natural response from Dagestan's residents to the "ongoing violence in Gaza."

Husainov added that the Dagestani people rejected the presence of the Israelis who landed in the republic, which is why they took to the airport.

As a result of these events, the Russian aviation authority decided to close the Makhachkala Uytash Airport in Dagestan and redirect the flights to other Russian airports.

Israeli media sources have reported that the office of the Israeli Prime Minister, the Foreign Ministry, and the National Security Council are monitoring the developments in the southern Russian region of Dagestan.

They confirmed that the Israeli occupation's ambassador to Russia, Alexander Ben Zvi, was working with Russian authorities to ensure the safety of Israelis and Jews in the area.

Additionally, Israeli media reported on urgent deliberations taking place within the Israeli Security Council in response to the "attack" on Israelis at the capital airport in Dagestan.

Israeli newspaper Haaretz cited Russian media sources to report the anti-Israel protests erupting throughout the Russian Caucasus region.

According to a report by the Latvian-based Russian website Meduza, a protest occurred outside the Flamingo Hotel in Khasavyurt, Dagestan, on Saturday. Demonstrators demanded the expulsion of Israelis from the hotel, leading security forces to allow some protesters to enter the hotel to ensure no Israelis were inside.

Protesters in Cherkessk called for not allowing Israelis to enter the area.

The Palestinian cause has lately brought the masses to the streets all over the world as they seek to express their solidarity with Palestine and condemnation of the Israeli occupation.

In Turkey, the city of Istanbul witnessed angry demonstrations, as demonstrators attacked American stores, in protest of the unlimited support for the Israeli occupation. They also threw fireworks at the Israeli consulate and showed their support for the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Palestinian Resistance with repetitive chants.

The demonstrations come in light of the ongoing aggression on Gaza. The Israeli occupation has now increased its bombardment on Gaza and cut off all sources of communication in several areas of the city. Hence, limiting medical work inside the long-threatened hospitals

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that October 27 witnessed the most violent strikes on Gaza since October 7, confirming that attacks are being carried out through air, land, and sea. Our correspondent noted that Central Gaza is being targeted as well after attacks in the previous days were concentrated north of the Strip.

While Israeli warplanes were conducting air strikes, Palestinian Resistance forces unleashed a series of heavy and consecutive rocket launches, targeting the vicinity of "Tel Aviv," "Ashdod," "Ashkelon," and central occupied Palestine.

Operation Al-Aqsa Flood ignited a wave of solidarity, uniting voices from the Arab world and beyond. Millions continue to gather across Arab, Islamic, and Western nations, fiercely condemning the relentless Israeli aggression.
