Dark times await the Saudi coalition forces: Sanaa govt
Sana'a government Defense Minister Mohammed Nasser al-Atifi says the Yemeni people have always rejected intruders and invaders.
Sana'a government Defense Minister Mohammed Nasser al-Atifi promised the countries of the Saudi coalition in the war on Yemen a response that would "crush their thrones and regimes," pledging dark days for the Saudi coalition forces.
"Confronting the countries of aggression is a strategic choice from which we cannot back down until the aggressive war on Yemen is over, the blockade is lifted, the invaders and occupiers leave Yemen, and every inch of Yemeni is liberated," al-Atifi asserted.
The Defense Minister told the Saudi-led coalition they had tried facing off against the people of Yemen, reminding that they saw men who were not scared of death. "You must know that if all forces in the world stand against us, the Yemen of faith and wisdom will remain unwavering," he added, noting that the Yemeni army and its committees would continue liberating their land no matter what.
"This option is a reflection of the guidance of the supreme revolutionary, political and military leadership, and is also the decision of all the free people of Yemen."
He reminded the "countries of aggression" of Yemen's history, saying the Yemeni people will not acquiesce to enemies who had not read history properly.
"The free people of Yemen stand today, on Yemen's Martyr's Day, proudly recalling their sacrifices, bravery, and valor that sought victorious for the homeland and undermined the coalition of aggression and their masses of sinful mercenaries," he concluded.
The Saudi-led coalition of aggression launched Thursday four air raids on the densely populated al-Sabeen area, south of Sanaa.
