The Israeli occupation committed 24 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, killing 210 and injuring 386 others, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed to 25,700 and the injured to 63,740.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that several Palestinians were martyred today as a result of the continuous Israeli bombing of Gaza.

More than 52 martyrs have reached Al-Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, only within 24 hours. As a result of the Israeli targeting of tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in al-Mawasi area, several Palestinians were also martyred, and many others were injured.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced that the occupation targeted its headquarters in Khan Younis, specifically its northern gate which, according to our correspondent, is the main portal for requesting ambulances in case of bombing. This resulted in the martyrdom of 3 displaced Palestinians and the injury of several others, adding that the bombing also targeted the association’s communication centers.

With regard to the systematic Israeli targeting of necessities of life and the health system in the Gaza Strip, our correspondent stated that the IOF are currently seeking to destroy the PRCS' headquarters in the southern region as well.

In addition, al-Nuseirat camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip was severely targeted by Israeli raids.

Deliberate and perpetual targeting of the Health Sector

Al Mayadeen's correspondent confirmed that the continuous Israeli bombing of Khan Younis via tank artillery and warplanes did not spare hospitals: Al-Nasser Medical Complex, Al-Amal, Al-Khair, and the European Gaza Hospital, stressing that they are all under Israeli siege, which is putting the lives of displaced and ill Palestinians at risk.

This prompted the Palestinian Ministry of Health to announce that it was unable to transport the wounded and the bodies of the martyrs to and from the hospital. This forces its crews to travel a longer distance toward Rafah, which puts the lives of the wounded at risk. It is noteworthy that Rafah's hospitals are also collapsing especially amid a lack of capacity for major causality cases especially since Rafah only includes small medical centers.

The Civil Defense in Gaza confirmed that the policy of targeting populated homes continues daily in the northern Gaza Strip. They stressed that the Civil Defense has lost thousands of lives due to the absence of ambulances and rescue tools.

They also emphasized that the lives and safety of children are threatened in shelter centers due to the cold weather and several other factors.

At dawn today, several areas in Khan Younis were subjected to violent Israeli bombardment from the air, land, and sea. The bombing targeted the vicinity of the Grand Mosque there, and the schools surrounding Al-Nasser Medical Complex, sheltering a large number of displaced Palestinians.
