The Ministry of Health in Gaza released the latest death toll in the Gaza Strip, on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

The Ministry confirmed that the Israeli occupation has killed 26,900 Palestinians, and injured 65,949 others since it launched its aggression on the Gaza Strip. Moreover, it added the Israeli occupation committed 16 massacres against Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip in only 24 hours, killing 150 and injuring 313.

As has been the case since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the ministry said that several people in targeted areas remain stuck under the rubble caused by Israeli bombs. Martyred and injured Palestinians remain unattended to in several areas around the Strip, where the Israeli occupation has prevented emergency workers from carrying out their mission.

Concurrently, deliveries to northern and central Gaza are deliberately and increasingly being denied by the Israeli occupation in the second half of January as a result of excessive delays for humanitarian aid convoys before or at Israeli checkpoints, in addition to the heightened aggression in central Gaza, OCHA revealed in its latest update on Monday.

In an act of domicide, 'Israel' wholly destroyed 3 Gazan quarters

The Guardian has recently revealed findings from their full-scale investigation of the destruction of Gaza as a result of the Israeli genocide.

General findings found that in the three focal neighborhoods of the investigation, at least 250 residential buildings, 17 schools and universities, and 16 mosques were leveled to the ground. The numbers prompted experts to label the genocide as a "domicide" as it not only forces Palestinians out of their homes or shelters but also makes it impossible for them to return to them.

"Israel" defends its unrestrained attacks on Gaza by blaming the whole situation on Hamas. It claims that Hamas infiltrates civilian areas, domestic homes, and complexes, something that has been repeatedly refuted, which "authorizes" the bombing of the entirety of the Strip.

On January 17, another study of satellite images obtained by Corey Scher of the City University of New York and Jamon Van Den Hoek of Oregon State University showed that 50 to 62 percent of all buildings in Gaza have been destroyed.

The Guardian's investigation focuses on three Gazan towns: Beit Hanoun, al-Zahra, and Khan Younis.
