The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza reported that, on the 166th day of the Israeli war on the Strip, the number of Palestinians killed since October 7 has risen to 31,923, in addition to 74,096 injuries.

In the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation committed 10 massacres against families in Gaza, killing 104 Palestinians and injuring 162, said the ministry, adding that some of the casualties remain under the rubble and on the streets, with the occupation preventing the search and rescue missions of ambulance and civil defense teams from reaching the bombed areas.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces continued on Wednesday their massacres in Gaza, with 27 Palestinians, including women and children, killed in an airstrike targeting a house in al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central part of the Strip.

Additionally, 23 Palestinians were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that bombarded a gathering of popular committees responsible for securing the transportation of aid at Kuwait Roundabout in Gaza City.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent also reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a residential building in al-Shati area northwest of Gaza City, while Israeli artillery shelled western areas of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.

The Government Media Office in Gaza reported in a statement today, Wednesday, that more than 100 were killed in 8 massacres the Israeli occupation committed against researchers and workers in the field of providing humanitarian aid in one week only.

Through these massacres, the Office emphasized, the Israeli occupation army aims to “perpetuate the policy of starvation and deepen famine on a broader scale, despite the warnings of international organizations and institutions of its dangerous repercussions."

The occupation also aims to “spread chaos, security instability, and administrative vacuum in the Gaza Strip,” but this has failed miserably considering that the people are very well aware of the occupation’s plans, the Media Office stressed.

It also denounced in the strongest terms "Israel's" terrorism, its ongoing crimes, and the genocidal war it is waging against civilians, children, and women in the Gaza Strip, as well as the American and some Western countries’ siding with the occupation in this war and their complicity in it.

The Media Office also held the American administration, the international community, and the occupation itself “fully responsible for these ongoing crimes against our Palestinian people, especially against those searching for food and those working in the field of providing humanitarian aid.”

In this context, the Office called on international organizations and bodies and the countries of the free world to "condemn the successive crimes of the occupation" and "to exert pressure on it to stop the war of genocide, the war of starvation, and the massacres against our Palestinian people, civilians, children, and women."

This comes as the health sector in Gaza is also being subjected to ongoing systemic destruction, risking the lives of thousands of patients, some of whom are currently in critical condition.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, the only medical facility still operating in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, warned that it is at risk of suspending its services due to a shortage of fuel for its generators.

This comes after two patients were martyred earlier this week due to the lack of fuel and the depletion of oxygen supplies.
