Dozens killed, injured as deadly Israeli shelling continues in Gaza

Local media reports said on April 8 that at least 6 people were killed and numerous others injured in a series of Israeli attacks across Gaza.

One of the most harrowing incidents occurred at the entrance to Ain Jalut Towers in southern Nusseirat Camp, where Israeli shelling struck a store selling cleaning supplies, doubling as a refuge for displaced individuals. The assault resulted in the deaths of 6 individuals and left several others wounded.

Meanwhile, in southeast Deir al-Balah city, an Israeli airstrike targeted a center sheltering displaced families, claiming the lives of a woman and her son.

Several others sustained injuries following an Israeli attack on a residential house on Abu Arif Street in the same city.

The casualties continued to mount as reports emerged of two individuals martyred due to Israeli shelling near the Al-Mazra'a School in eastern Deir al-Balah, and a Palestinian youth killed in an attack on civilians east of the Bureij Camp.

Further north, in the town of Nasr near Rafah, another tragic incident unfolded as Israeli shelling claimed the life of one individual and left several others wounded.
