The number of Palestinians killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7 has risen to 37,296 and those injured to 85,197, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed on Saturday.

In its daily report, the Health Ministry mentioned that the Israeli occupation forces committed three massacres in 24 hours only, killing a total of 30 and injuring 95 others.

It noted that several victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.

In a related context, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported intense Israeli air, sea, and land bombardment on the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, amid ongoing fierce confrontations between the Palestinian Resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces in the western areas of the city.

Our correspondent added that the Israeli occupation army has expanded its ground incursion in the western regions of Rafah, particularly in the Saudi neighborhood and Tell al-Sultan.

Earlier, Israeli artillery targeted the two areas in parallel with heavy gunfire from occupation vehicles.

Israeli occupation forces also targeted central Rafah with renewed artillery bombardment on the al-Shaboura refugee camp.

In Khan Younis, also in the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli naval boats fired at fishing boats operating in the sea off Qarara, northwest of the city, while Israeli military vehicles opened fire on the eastern part of the city.

Israeli occupation forces also extended to the central Gaza Strip, with an airstrike hitting the Nuseirat refugee camp. Occupation vehicles opened fire on the northern part of the camp, while Israeli forces demolished residential buildings in al-Mughraqa.

Additionally, Israeli military vehicles opened fire on the eastern area of Deir al-Balah, while the occupation forces targeted areas in eastern Gaza City, specifically the Old Gaza area in the al-Daraj and the al-Shujaiya neighborhoods.

According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, 19 Palestinians, including an infant, were killed and dozens of others were injured, most of them women and children, in the al-Tuffah and al-Shujaiya neighborhoods in Gaza City, after Israeli occupation forces targeted homes there.

Meanwhile, Israeli quadcopter drones intensively flew over the al-Daraj, al-Zaytoun, al-Sabra, and al-Shujaiya neighborhoods.

Israeli occupation forces also launched illumination bombs over eastern Gaza City while Israeli naval boats shelled the city's coast.

The Israeli army also targeted the vicinity of Wadi Gaza in the northern part of the central governorate.
