Day 257: 37,396 martyred, 85,523 injured in war on Gaza
The toll of the aggression on Gaza continues rising as the Israeli occupation commits more massacres against innocent civilians.
The number of Palestinians killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7 has risen to 37,396 and those injured to 85,523, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Wednesday.
In its daily report, the Health Ministry mentioned that the Israeli occupation forces committed three massacres in 24 hours only, killing a total of 24 and injuring 71 others.
It noted that several victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
On the 256th day of aggression against the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation committed new massacres in the central region and escalated bombings in Rafah, southern Gaza. Occupation military vehicles also made attempts to invade the area.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza confirmed that two Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli raid on the western Gaza Valley in al-Nuseirat, raising the death toll to 19 as of dawn Tuesday.
Palestinian media reported that 17 martyrs, including children, were killed in the Israeli occupation's bombing of civilian areas in the Central Governorate. The death toll is expected to rise as the Israeli bombing continues.
The Israeli raids on a house owned by the al-Rai family in the Nuseirat camp killed several Palestinians and the bombing targeted warehouses where displaced people from the al-Madhoun family were seeking refuge. Additionally, the occupation bombed another house belonging to the Harb family in the al-Bureij camp.
The occupation also carried out multiple attacks in the town of al-Mughraqa, while targeting the eastern part of the city of Deir al-Balah.
