The number of Palestinians killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7 has risen to 37,431 and those injured to 85,653, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed on Thursday.

In its daily report, the Health Ministry mentioned that the Israeli occupation forces committed three massacres in the past 24 hours, killing a total of 101 people and injuring 169 others.

It noted that many victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.

Our correspondent said that the Israeli occupation forces committed another massacre by targeting an entire residential block in the al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

Earlier, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that the Israeli occupation army has intensified its shelling on the western areas of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Israeli artillery and tank fire also targeted the town of Aabasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

Additionally, Israeli warships attacked the coast of Gaza City, deliberately firing shells at fishermen. According to our correspondent, the Israeli navy shot and wounded two fishermen near Gaza port.

In this context, the Gaza Media Office warned that famine is rapidly looming in Gaza and northern governorates.

Our correspondent suggested that famine has become imminent, especially in the northern areas, as the Israeli occupation forces continue to prevent the entry of food aid into northern Gaza.

Hamas affirmed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's claim that the ratio of civilian to combatant deaths in Gaza is one-to-one is a lie and an erosion of global public opinion.

In a statement, the Palestinian Resistance group stressed that the allegations are a continuation of the blatant deception that seeks to cover up the war crimes and genocide committed by the occupation army that are unprecedented in modern history.

The movement affirmed that the daily reports published by the Health Ministry in Gaza and other documentation prove that the vast majority of victims in the Gaza Strip are civilians, especially women and children, killed in reckless Israeli bombardments on their homes, hospitals, shelters, and more locations the occupation claimed were safe zones.
