The number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza since October 7 has risen to 38,243 martyrs and those injured 88,033, the Ministry of Health in the Strip confirmed on Tuesday.

In its daily report, the Ministry announced that "Israel" committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, killing 50 and injuring 130 in 24 hours only.

The report noted that several victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as emergency and civil defense teams cannot reach them.

A study by the British scientific journal The Lancet, a weekly peer-reviewed general medical journal, predicts that the number of martyrs killed during the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, both directly and indirectly, will exceed 186,000.

In a related context, the Government Media Office in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation has prevented the entry of aid into the Strip for 64 days, which threatens an increase in the number of deaths.

In a statement, the Media Office warned that the Israeli measures will lead to a rise in deaths in the Gaza Strip due to starvation, especially among children.

It emphasized that "Israel" is escalating its policy of starvation in the Strip's governorates, particularly in Gaza and the northern governorates.

The statement condemned the Israeli occupation's decision, backed by US approval, to prevent the entry of aid into the Strip as a weapon of war and a tool of political pressure.

Elsewhere, the Media Office called on the international community, the United Nations, international organizations, and the free nations of the world to put pressure on the Israeli occupation and Washington to stop this genocide.

This comes as the Israeli occupation forces continue their war on the Gaza Strip for the 277th, committing further massacres against Palestinian civilians.

Several Palestinians were killed and others were injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling that targeted various areas across Gaza, especially in the central region.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported intense gunfire from Israeli military vehicles and Quadcopter drones in eastern al-Bureij and northern al-Nusairat camp, central Gaza.

Simultaneously, Israeli occupation forces carried out a severe airstrike on the western al-Maghazi camp, north of al-Nusairat.

Our correspondent said several were injured in Israeli shelling that targeted the al-Nakheel Street in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that five Palestinians were killed and others were injured, most of them children, in Israeli airstrikes that targeted homes in the al-Sahaba and al-Jalaa areas of Gaza City.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent also reported Israeli airstrikes in the vicinity of the al-Shifa Medical Complex in western Gaza City.

In the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli artillery shelling also targeted areas west of Rafah city.
