The number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza since October 7 has risen to 38,295 martyrs and those injured 88,241, the Ministry of Health in the Strip confirmed on Wednesday.

In its daily report, the Ministry announced that "Israel" committed four massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, killing 52 and injuring 108 over the past 24 hours only.

The report noted that several victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as emergency and civil defense teams cannot reach them.

According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza, one Palestinian was killed while several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a gathering of civilians in the town of Musbah, northernmost Rafah.

In central Rafah, Israeli tanks heavily fired at Palestinian homes, while the occupation's artillery shelling targeted the Yabna and al-Shaboura camps.

Our correspondent also announced the martyrdom of a Palestinian man and several injuries following a drone attack targeting the Tal al-Sultan in southern Rafah.

Elsewhere in Gaza, our corresponded confirmed that at least 70% of the city was subject to ground and aerial attacks, reporting injuries in an airstrike launched by the Israeli occupation forces in the al-Daraj neighborhood.

A Palestinian house in the town of Bani Suheila, in eastern Khan Younis, was also targeted by the IOF, killing two Palestinians and injuring six others.

Three displaced Palestinians, including a child, were killed, while 10 others were injured, in an Israeli strike targeting a retail store sheltering displaced individuals in Nuseirat, central Gaza.

Gaza civil defense decries Israeli targeting of civilian sites

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) stated that its crews are unable to respond to dozens of distress calls in Gaza due to the intensity and danger of the Israeli bombardment.

"Field reports from Gaza Governorate indicate that the situation for residents is extremely dire," the PRCS indicated on X, adding that "the occupation forces continue to target residential blocks and displace citizens from their homes and shelters."

The PRCS had earlier announced that all its "medical points and emergency clinics in the Gaza Governorate are out of service due to the Israeli occupation's forcible evacuation measures in various areas of the governorate where these medical points and clinics are located."

The Directorate of Supply and Equipment at the General Directorate of Civil Defense in Gaza denounced the continued massacres carried out by Israeli occupation forces and the targeting of civilian sites and institutions designated as shelters, which puts at risk the lives of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with US-made weapons.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the directorate condemned the Israeli occupation's use of prohibited bombs in densely populated areas, amid an increasing humanitarian blockade, the halting of fuel supplies to civil defense teams, and the reduction of fuel to other humanitarian institutions.
