The Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip for the 98th day in a row, launching raids on various areas, resulting in the killing and injury of dozens, most of whom are women and children.

This brings the total number of martyrs in Gaza to 23,708, while the number of wounded has exceeded 60,000, since October 7, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.

The Ministry added that the Israeli occupation committed 13 massacres during the past 24 hours, killing 151 Palestinians and wounding 248 others.

It was also disclosed that numerous casualties are still trapped underneath the rubble or on roadways, and rescue and civil defense teams continue to face challenges reaching them.

Concurrently, Al Mayadeen's correspondent confirmed that Israeli warplanes targeted the central and southern parts of the Gaza Strip with intense airstrikes, coinciding with heavy artillery shelling targeting the central and western areas of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli warplanes also heavily bombed al-Maghazi and al-Bureij refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip, and military vehicles fired toward al-Nuseirat camp in the central part of the Strip.

In the southern Gaza Strip, Khan Younis continues to witness ground operations, with a decrease in the intensity of these operations, coinciding with continued heavy artillery shelling of its southern and western parts, as per our correspondent.

Our correspondent reported injuries in the Israeli occupation airstrikes on the Aram family's home in Khan Younis refugee camp in the southern Gaza Strip.

It is worth noting that the Gaza Government Media Office reported that there are 7,000 missing people, 70% of whom are children and women, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

Daily death toll in Gaza surpasses any other in 21st century: Oxfam

Oxfam, the Britain-based charity, stated, on Thursday, that the daily death toll of Palestinians in the brutal Israeli war on Gaza surpasses that of any other major war in the 21st century, while survivors remain at high risk due to hunger, diseases, and cold, as well as ongoing Israeli bombings.

The occupation is "killing Palestinians at an average rate of 250 people a day, which massively exceeds the daily death toll of any other major conflict of recent years,” Oxfam said in a statement. They provided a list of average deaths per day in other cases of aggression since the turn of the century: 96.5 in Syria, 51.6 in Sudan, 50.8 in Iraq, 43.9 in Ukraine, 23.8 in Afghanistan, and 15.8 in Yemen.

According to Oxfam, Palestinians are at serious risk of starvation due to the occupation's restrictions on the entry of aid into Gaza as only 10% of the weekly food aid that is needed gets in.
