Day of rage in Iran in support of Lebanon, Gaza
Tehran's Friday preacher, Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, had called for a day of rage, where all of Iran will chant "Death to America, Death to Israel."
Iran witnessed massive protests in support of the Axis of Resistance and Hezbollah in Lebanon following Friday prayers, amid the current massive Israeli aggression on the country's southern region and the Bekaa region to the east, Iranian media reported.
Tehran's Friday preacher, Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, had called for a day of rage, where all of Iran will chant "Death to America, Death to Israel," the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) mentioned.
Ayatollah Khatami pointed to the "death of international organizations" and called on humanity to consider a "true human rights organization," one led by the people, not by governments.
In the same context, the commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, Major General Hossein Salami, underlined that "even if the United States, Britain, France, and all the fronts aligned with the world's devils united, they would never be able to defeat Hezbollah."
"Hezbollah will emerge victorious once again, just like in the past," he stressed.
Regarding Gaza, Salami expressed confidence that the Palestinian people "will soon achieve a great victory," as the Israeli war on the besieged enclave continues.
His statements echo those of Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, who indicated that "Hezbollah is victorious until today, and the final victory definitely belongs to the Resistance front and Hezbollah's front."
In a speech to a group of early defenders of the Islamic Revolution and the Resistance, Sayyed Khamenei emphasized on Wednesday that Hezbollah is under aggression because it is fighting in support of Gaza.
On Thursday, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that "Israel" is attempting to ignite a "full-scale war" in the region, adding that the occupation entity's provocative and deadly actions render it undeserving of membership in the United Nations.
During an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, which convened to address the situation in the West Asia region, with a particular focus on Lebanon, Araghchi reaffirmed the Islamic Republic's unwavering support for the Lebanese people's "heroic" defense of their nation, referring to Hezbollah's military operations against Israeli targets.
