The leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran Sayyed Ali Khamenei emphasized on Wednesday that the Resistance in Lebanon Hezbollah is under aggression because it is fighting in support of Gaza.

In a speech to a group of early defenders of the Islamic Revolution and the Resistance, Sayyed Khamenei noted that "Hezbollah is victorious until today, and the final victory definitely belongs to the Resistance front and Hezbollah's front."

Commenting on the assassinations carried out by the Israeli occupation against leaders of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Sayyed Khamenei remarked that these "assassinations will not let Hezbollah, budge and inch as it has enough steadfastness to remain unaffected by such strikes."

The Iranian leader added that "were the Zionist entity capable of defeating the Resistance in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon, it wouldn’t have resorted to massacring civilians in front of the entire world."

He also affirmed the necessity for Muslims to reclaim occupied Palestine and restore the Al-Aqsa Mosque to its rightful people.

'In defense of Lebanon'

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi condemned the Israeli aggression on Lebanon on Tuesday, warning that the region is "on the brink of a large-scale war."

Meanwhile, Hezbollah upscaled its operations in "defense of Lebanon and in support of the Palestinians in Gaza and their honorable Resistance."

Hezbollah has expanded the range and scope of its rocket and drone strikes since the Israeli aggression started early Monday.

For the first time ever, the Resistance struck the suburb of Tel Aviv on Monday, forcing hundreds of thousands of settlers to bomb shelters.

Hezbollah unveiled in a statement the Qader 1 ballistic missile, announcing that it was used to strike the Mossad command center responsible for the pagers and two-way radios terrorist attack and the assassination of the Resistance group's leaders.

The command center is based in the suburbs of Tel Aviv, Hezbollah confirmed in its statement.
