The Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip attacked Israeli occupation forces on several axes in the Gaza Strip on Thursday.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad's (PIJ) al-Quds Brigades announced that their fighters, who had returned from the front lines in eastern Deir al-Balah, conducted an operation that saw Israeli military rescue helicopters rush to the scene of the attack to evacuate Israeli casualties.

Its fighters detonated explosive devices planted within a building in eastern Deir al-Balah after Israeli occupation troops entered the point of the ambush. The brigades said that soldiers were either killed or injured in the incident.

On Thursday, Palestinian Resistance factions also shelled Israeli occupation forces on several axes, including the strategic Netzarim Axis, which splits the northern Gaza Strip from the rest of the besieged territory.

Al-Quds Brigades mortar units shelled groupings of occupation soldiers and vehicles advancing into the center of Khan Younis.

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) said that its fighters shelled Israeli occupation forces in the Yibna refugee camp in Rafah with large-caliber mortar rounds.

A joint operation was also conducted between al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, who shelled Israeli occupation forces with mortar rounds in eastern Deir al-Balah.
