Death toll from Israeli aggression on Yemen rises to 46
Yemen’s Health Ministry confirmed that Israeli airstrikes on Sanaa and al-Jawf killed 46 people and wounded 165, with significant casualties among women and children.

The Yemeni Ministry of Health announced Thursday that the death toll from Israeli airstrikes on the capital, Sanaa, and al-Jawf province has climbed to 46, with 165 others wounded.
Heavy civilian casualties
According to the ministry, 38 people were killed and 147 were injured in Sanaa, while eight were killed and 18 others were wounded in al-Jawf. The statement stressed that the figures remain preliminary as search operations continue.
The casualties include five children killed and 31 injured, alongside 11 women killed and 29 injured. Among men, 30 were reported killed and 105 wounded.

Strikes on civilian areas
The ministry condemned the Israeli aggression, noting that the airstrikes targeted residential buildings, public service facilities, and press institutions in multiple raids on Wednesday afternoon.
Civil defense and medical teams are still working to recover victims from beneath the rubble and provide urgent assistance to the wounded.
