Defections from Hadi's forces are on the rise
The desertion of military leaders fighting with Hadi’s forces to join Yemeni Armed forces has come to be seen as a normal occurrence.
Sana'a government's National Committee for Returnees announced that it had welcomed 4 military leaders who deserted the ranks of the Saudi-backed armed groups and returned to the national ranks, within the scope of the general pardon.
"After the constant defeat of Hadi’s forces, the returnees confirmed that the Saudi-led aggression and its mercenaries are in a tough position," Saba News Agency reported.
"The returnee convoys will continue, and the enemy will be faced with two options: surrender or flee in humiliation," it added.
Furthermore, the 4 military leaders also praised the general pardon, which they said embodies the level of responsibility towards all Yemeni people.
The returnees called on their former comrades to take advantage of the general pardon and return to "national ranks and abandon the [ranks of] mercenaries and spies who sold the homeland for a cheap price."
